@christa: Well what you might find helpful is to go for Long rather than hard. Sessions of an hour or less are worthless to me. An hour is not nearly long enough for me to reach the most rewarding and healing biological state of a spank. I prefer sessions of 3-6 hours. If you ease into the more intense sections of the sessions, you warm to the experience and your tolerance to the sting increases. You would probably be surprised what you can take if you work up to it properly. Long before the session is over, your endorphins are freely flowing, allowing for more painful/pleasurable play. If I take the time to do my session right, I always, always, enter subspace. Anyway.
