My mail runs extremely late at night time; I don't get my mail until about 7 o'clock. One day, the sun had already had gone down. Walking down the street in the neighborhood, pretty much in the street since there’s no sidewalks. Checking the mail, I’ve noticed that I had gotten a letter from someone I missed talking to. She's was the sweetest, most memorable young woman I came across. I walked back home, locked the front door, turned on my alarm system, and went upstairs with my mail.
Opening up the envelope and saw enclosed was a letter that said, “Dear Walter, I still missed you. Still thinking about you. Wish we can chat again soon. It’s not the same without you. Teliah.” One of my best friends that was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her name was Teliah Moore. She graduated from the same high school as the late Kobe Bryant in Lower Merion High School. A couple weeks later, Teliah gets a letter in the mail. She was so excited; she ran inside, sat at the table with her mom, dad, her sister and her two younger brothers. She opened up the envelope and it said that Teliah has been accepted to Yale University. Screams of joy filled the room as everyone else screams, shouts, cries, and hugs in excitement. A full ride scholarship is definitely something to scream about. Teliah could’ve chose any Ivy League college but she wanted to challenge herself. This was the happiest day of her life, and nobody was going to steal her happiness.
