I don't really know how to start, but here's the short story long:

Only experiencing can give you the real feel and make you understand if you really want to do it or not and if it's in you or not.

What I suggest you is avoiding rope play for now, it can be dangerous if done by inexperienced hands. Instead use blindfolds to cover her eyes, scarf to tie her arms to her legs to keep her spread, ball gags if necessary but preferably one that has holes in it for breathing.
