Those were my 2 choices I finally voted the ring as I could hear the guys asking to use my mouth if I was wearing it. The bone could indicate pet or just a gag someone thought was cute. Was the reasons for my choices...

The one where the mouth is open. The penis gag, no one will know what that is once it's in place. (That has been used on me before, while it's embarrassing, especially when @Kimuratrap comments on it while using me in other ways, it doesn't look like much on the outside.) The open mouth gag is a little more obvious what it's for and what it means, and would be more embarrassing for others to see, imo.

I think I've seen those. I guess in the end it's all about which he prefers me to use. I can't speak for him, but I assume there are advantages to each one (his comfort, ability to thrust deeply, etc). I've only used one type
(ring), so I'm definitely not an expert on the subject.

I think of those embarrassing as they make you look like having "duck lips". I am just curious how hard is the silicone to keep your mouth open.

I disagree that one would be humiliating only because the penis part will be worn inside the mouth and unseen by the public onlookers. However, I am sure if I were to walk down the street with a ring gag (#2) some would be asking if they could help me put it to good use. To the public that one would be an obvious display of what its intended use is for. And that would be somewhat humiliating, although I might actually agree to some of their suggestions.

I would add another type :

Gags are designed for different applied puposes.

Cover gags and ball gags are for depriving aka sensual deprivacation.

Ring gags and spider gags are for abuse applications as clearly things are going in there whether desired or not.

As far as public use, ring gags bring the terrible awkward mental state from being in the dentists office and its very difficult to swallow with them.
