I love tatoo and piercing, getting and having others do.
For a branding, and since almost no one likes permanent stuff, a nice idea i had, i dont know if i may see it around the web but i cant recall, its to "dry" tattoo what ever master/mistress says in whatever place, but my likings whould be one of the sports where hurts the most.
The point of it is not being permanent, so.. as for piercings it whould be needle play, and for the tattoo it whould be a tattoo using clean sterilized NaCl 0.9% solution, the one u get when hospitalized, as ink substitue. But even using this, is recommended to do it properly and not get anything to the fat layer.
Why the NaCl, ull be wondering. ? Well , cause its sterile and ment to be inyected in vein or under the skin and also u need to clean the needles, have em moist, to mimmic the ink.
petroleum jelly is needed, just like real tatoos, to avoid blood splatters, to moisture skin and balblalblab
It can be done by non professionals, but need some experience, since the NaCl wont hurt or infect tissue if done wrong and depositing "ink" not in the dermis. Most cases are getting the ink in fat layer and.... well taht has some horrendous endings for some people, but infection is the most often injury
But, definetly, ull need some experience. For instance, Finger tattoo, or any close to the bone tatoo, needs to be done carefully to avoid tissue inflamation / irritation caused by the percusion over the bones.
This way u avoid infection, only the one ull suffer from a bad "artists" if u can call him taht way, so u still need to care for it like a real tatoo. The result is a scratch scar and swell tissue, both will eventually dissapear, maybe bruises since tattoing is kind of an impact, very very fast impact. recovery time depends on each person. In my case, 15 days for a haf recovery, but i have heavi overworked tatoos.
Line art may heal in 7 to 10 days.
About the place to be done, can be checked looking for the most sensitive area by slightly scratching with a needle or better a pointy but blunt object like safety pins, since scratching is the actuall pain (in my case) suffered while being tattooed, to check where u are more sensitive:
Inner arms, close to the elbow, dont matter if biceps or forehand.
Chest, at least in males, close to the nipple hurts like crazy. Probably underboobs hurts a lot, but im not sure if that hsould be the place, ull need to check with an expert for some specific scenarios, like this:
Underboobs, if u have tiny tits its ok, cause it will be ventilated. Medium to big boobs may be troublesome, cause it will be skin over skin, made the area moist, not ventilated.. balblalblab u dont want to risk infections.
Foreskin, Scrotum / Labia clit foreskin. (i whould reomend not even thinking on glans or clit glans... will be a bloodbath and i dont know about its recovery.... but its not "skin")
While is not permanent, many people will doubt about it, but having your master branding and rebranding you over and over, wherever he/she likes... sounds like fun. It will definetly be fun for me (both sides).
I don tknow if this post is considered old, already but... mehh!!! i like tatoo and piercing, and it proably bring the thread to live.
SAFETY FIRST, PLEASE. I did a little thinking about this and what and could be going wrong.
I discused this with my tatoo artists, not a very long and deep conversation, tho. So if u like the idea, talk to a real artsit and dont take my words as truth.
