Whenever possible I like to share photos of my subs and their exploits, this I do only where I have explicit consent. Generally they are of gals who want to be seen online but if I am ever in doubt I will always double check first.
Something that has been an ongoing problem for me has been when others grab these pics and try to pass them off as their own. That doesn't happen here of course or they would be out on their ass so fast you'd hear a sonic boom!
Mostly it happens on sites like xhamster and imagefap, in general they seem to crop up in compilations of bdsm photos which isn't so bad as it is clear they are "web finds" and the person isn't claiming them as theirs. However from time to time I've had to deal with the issue of someone else claiming they took them, usually they pull them without argument but I've had occasion to have to resort to reporting them to have them removed.
This whole issue of being honest and attributing your source when posting pics is important, just because something is posted online doesnt make it public domain.

People who post original content enrich the online bdsm world for everyone. Seeing what others really do and how is much more useful than the stuff manufactured by the porn industry which uses actors in unrealistic scenarios. But every time someone steals someone else's photos it puts us off posting more which is a shame as the bdsm scene needs more of the real not less. So if you do want to use someone else's work please at least give credit where credit is due.

And then there is the second category, that posted without consent or knowledge. Often known as revenge porn or exgf porn aside from being a horrible thing to do and immoral this is a real problem for sites like ours due to the mounting legal issues.
Just to be totally clear, you cannot post photos here of anyone regardless of if they are naked or not without their consent. An especially abhorrent trend is the "what would you do?" style post that includes a selection of photos of unsuspecting and unconsenting people (usually women) inviting degrading comments or even "tributes".
It doesn't matter how you came upon those photos, whether they are some you found of an ex on an old hard drive, downloaded from another site or sent to you willingly unless they have specifically said (and we want to see proof) that you can post them here, you can't!
Furthermore when you encourage or ask for this type of thing you are promoting non-consensual activity.

I'm getting kind of fed up preaching what should be obvious common sense but it doesn't seem to be. The instances of people using others photos and trying to pass them off their own or doing dumb shit with photos that may be theirs but not theirs to share continues and until it stops you're going to have to keep hearing the sermon according to Dr O!
