First of all, thank you for opening and reading this thread.

I am a twenty-five year old guy who has been looking for a legitimate Mistress/Domme for a while now. I have been all over sites, including Kinktalk and Getdare. I've been looking for someone who is real and willing to take the relationship seriously. However, recently, I've been noticing more and more that there are less real Mistresses/Dommes out there taking things seriously.

I have seen countless posts from women looking for subs. Upon following up on the posts and investing my time, the only result I stumble upon is someone looking for my money. Too many times, I have seen the phrases "if you buy me a new dildo, I'll let you tell me how to use it", "sign up on this site to let everyone know that I own you", or "slave will send me gift cards".

Is anyone else bothered by this? I'm starting to wonder if there are any real Mistresses/Dommes online anymore.

Your best bet to actually get dommed is a site like flirt4free or other cam sites or twitter, just avoid findoms. DON'T buy into this "findom" bullshit. Oh and also, if you don't have any money or don't want to pay. Don't worry. There are real female subs out there, you just have to sort through all the fakes. We have the same problem, hard to sort through all the jackasses and pic collectors to find a legit Dom who gets that there's more to being dominant than making demands and requesting pics. I definitely agree that BDSM has become a little too mainstream and as a result, there's tons of people who have no idea what they're talking about or what these relationships actually entail.

yep... "she" told that to me too. and i dont think its that one account. i talk to these domms, and as they seem different i get a hits here and there that this is the same person.

you'd probably have more luck signing up with FetLife (although there are a lot of fakers there too) and then attend local munches (assuming you're old enough to get into places they're held at) and getting to know locals and going to local clubs (again if you're old enough to get in).

Then start looking for a mistress in the remaining crowd. Chances probably 50% between trolls and real.

But really, just ignore people asking for money. If you want an online relationship even blackmail is not reduced to money favours.

I agree with this completely! I was contacted by so many 'Doms' when I first joined the site making outrageous requests right out the gate. If I hadn't found a couple decent ones, I doubt I'd have anything to do with this site anymore and I've only been here a month!

Fifty shades brought the BDSM world into the Limelight but at a cost!!! All publicity isn't good!! They call it 'mommy porn'!!

There is not but it is impossible to do. All sites go to rules where you confirm your age.

And fakes are everywere. But some people said for good that a d/s relationship doesnt work online.
