I currently have a Dom, but control isn’t a big turn on for him. He has suggested that I find a domme to use and control me when he is unable to.

Read her post slowly and carefully it says "domme" that would be female. You are male "dom". and after seeing your lack of attention to detail or possible lack of knowledge of what a domme vs dom is then maybe you arent even necessarily needing to take the dom title till you do some research get a mentor and learn some more.
