Ok, so pretty straightforward, here we will be discussing clit pain. The best methods, experiences, what works and what doesn't. What this isn't it a place to request tasks, if you're looking for specific ideas for yourself take a look through the "Request Dares or Tasks" section in the Training Room.

Recently there seems to been a uptick in requests for ideas for "really painful" clit tortures so lets see just how creative Kink Talkers can be. And let's keep this sane and safe, I will be moderating this thread closely so any stupidly dangerous ideas will be purged.

What I want to discuss here first is a few of the top methods I know of then see what others experiences are.
So in no particular order.
Two of these have been covered extensively so I won't be discussing the rubber band crotch strap or nail polish, suffice to say they work rather well.
The last one, the bamboo skewer is something I use a lot as it's easy to get, disposable and has a variety of uses.

It works really well as mini cane to strike the clit with. Place the blunt end against the clit, hold firmly then pull back and release. The flick has quite a bite and with such a small striking surface really stings. You can easily use them solo like this although the best effect comes when the control of the strikes is by someone else.
You can also use the point to gentlly stab at the clit, it really doesn't need much pressure at all for this to make the subject jump. A neat way to try this one solo is to use a couple of large straws joined together as a guide tube, place the end of the straw on the exposed clit and drop the skewer down point first. This is plenty of speed to make it a nasty hit without the risk of breaking skin.

Ok so what is your experience? Have you tried any of these ideas, maybe even modified them yourself? Are you a sadist with other creative ways to inflict hurt on the clit?
Do you have some thoughts on clit pain in general, why it appeals, why you enjoy receiving or inflicting it?

I love the straw and bamboo skewer idea… I don’t know how I would do that to myself though, any tips?
The practicality of this one varies a lot from person to person. In most cases it will work solo sitting semi reclined on the bed, this allows you reach to hold the straw tube in position and to drop the skewer in.
I found with this that the large straws for thick shakes work best, you do need to carefully align them and use tape to make sure they are straight. A bend in this tube will slow or even stick the skewer and prevent it from working.
Expose the clit and carefully place the end of the straw tube on it, keeping the tube as close to vertical as you can. This is where differing physiology will vary the experience, larger and more clearly defined clits are much easier to work with but let's face it, you know exactly where it is right?
You can then experiment by starting out with most of the skewer inserted in the tube so there is less drop space, this gives a mild hit to begin with and allows you to gauge how it will be. Gradually insert less skewer making the drop longer and the hit faster.

Hope this helps make it clearer.

Hello Doc,
I recently wondered if there are uses for lemon juice as a clit punishment, eg cotton swap/makeup pad drenched in it and held against it.
I could not find anything about this online and am curious for a "professional" opinion and risk assesment before trying anything like this.

Dangers and possible effects?

Also, using a regular 9v battery block, the kind where we as kids always licked the contacts of.
What are other opinions on gently holding it against sensitive skin eg clit and letting the electricity flow throu?
Tried it with ma dick, its a burning/stinging sensation after some seconds. The amount of electricity is quite limitied that flows through, but still curious.

Cheers.

Using lemon juice is something I would consider safe for most people, there is little if any danger from these kind of substances, vinegar is also in the same rough pH range. The big key with any kind of chemical play like this is cleaning well afterwards. You really don't want to leave anything in contact with sensitive skin for too long. Of course some people may be allergic to it, always test if in doubt using the dab test. Place a small drop on the inside forearm skin between wrist and elbow. If this results in a rash or redness within 5 minutes wash it off well and do not use it on this person.

Just as a quick refresher, pH (or potential hydrogen) refers to the free hydrogen ions in a solution. Confusingly, a low number pH means more free H+ ions, so acids run from 0 up to 6, then at 7 is pure water which is neutral and then from there up to 14 are the base or alkalines. This is a logarithmic scale too, so it increases in strength very rapidly. Lemon juice and vinegar sit around 2-3, diluting them with some water reduces the pH very quickly so if you want to experiment you can test diluted solutions first.
Blood and most human skin etc sits around a pH of 8, but as I mentioned the key to anything like this is cleaning up well afterwards.

As for electrical play, I've covered that in some detail in this post. The bottom line is 9V batteries are not a great way to create a shock.

Informal as always, thanks doc!
You "quick refresher" was new information for me, no need to be such a showoff about how knowleged you are /s kidding, I enjoy having you as a reliable source.

Cheers.

Its a me again, Ice play is often talked about.

Im curious how save (and if it is possible at all) to use ice for a temporary clit numbing effect to try and get a sub frustrated but unable to climax/edge from rubbing.

Cheers

Ice play is something that probably needs a whole discussion thread of it's own but here's a short(ish) version as it specifically applies to what you've asked.

In general ice cubes from the refrigerator are fine to play with, a domestic freezer in your fridge sits somewhere between -14C and -18C. This is not especially cold in real terms and added to that an average sized ice cube is only a small mass, typically about 30-40 grams. This means it starts to warm up quite quickly, and obviously enough, melts. Ice is also a good insulator, so as soon as it has a melt layer the outside is usually quite close to that melting point, 0C which is far less problematic than -18C.

Don't use cubes taken straight from the freezer, allow them to stand a few minutes so the surface melt starts before applying it to the skin. This will will avoid flash bonding that can occur, you may have experienced this when taking things out of your freezer when your finger tips stick to the item? While flash bonding on your finger tips is annoying it isn't usually a problem as that skin it quite tough, if that happens on the delicate tissue of the clitoris it could cause skin to freeze, which is what frostbite is. And you do not want that.

So in general using a single ice cube on a clit is fine, if you use common sense, let it sit and warm up before use and limit contact to several minutes (up to around 5 minutes) then all will be fine. If the cube is slippery and wet, it's good to play with, if it's dry and sticky do not use it.

Yeah, nah.

This is the kind of stuff that someone may decide to do themselves and be prepared to take the consequences. I've no idea about this person or how long they've been into this kind of thing but I'd say she's been at it quite some time. So many things could go wrong here if you're not 100% on top of things.

I also take with a grain of salt the length of time they apply these type techniques quoted by people online, maybe, maybe not. What I certainly would never do is use them as reference to say "oh if she can do it, so can I" which is a dangerous assumption.

There are extreme kink practitioners of all kinds that can do insane things. Amazing Ty was a sensation years ago for her monsters cunt insertions, she pivoted to urethral insertions and could fit a regular dildo in her pee hole. There are performers who play around prolapsing their anus, the list goes on and on. But in the most honest sense of the word, these people are sexual freaks! Just because you've seen someone do it doesn't mean you should have a go.

Interesting, extreme, but don't try this at home.

Hmmm, thanks doc, kinda mirrors what I thougth when seeing this, definitely not something I would consider trying/letting get tried.

Oh kinky Doctor of the interweb, up there on your velvet throne.
Oh your majesty @droptokon I seek your wisdom once again.

Today quite the opposite of clit pain, but not less torturous:

Numbing creme (on a clitoris) to reduce sensation from stimulation and keep a sub desperate and frustrated because even the strongest vibrator can't get them over the edge.

The use of Lidocaine and similar numbing creams is kinda spread in the orgasm denial part of BDSM.
We already have a cream at hand for different applications but the pamphlet does not specify this kinky use case.
So I'll follow common sense and ask my favorite doctor:

Do you see any issues with using "ebanel numb 520" to temporary numb a clitoris?

Cheers!
(I'm 90% sure there are no issues, but better save than sorry ^^)

Your first post on this forum, endless opportunities, threads, specialised places for play/personals/education... and you decide to be thirsty on a discussion thread at a 6+ week old post...

You can do better.

No issues, other than those to look out for listed on the product itself. Things like don't use it too often, not for more than a few days, test a small amount first to ensure you're not allergic to it and so on.

Also if you are undertaking other activities where the affected area might get hit etc, be careful not to cause more serious damage than intended. While the numbing effect is well short of true anesthetic level it's still something to be aware of.
