A few years ago I rubber banded my dick for a few hours while masturbating. Ever since then my erections are softer and shorter. Lately it’s hard to even to get an erection. I can masturbate for hours without getting hard at all. The only time I get hard is when I’m about to cum but then gets soft immediately. What can I do for this?

Seek professional help, sounds like nerve damage. If it is the bad news is you can't fix damaged nerves.
Go see your regular doctor and get a referral to see a neurologist.

I don’t feel numbness or tingling. Would that not be common symptoms for nerve damage?

It can be, however nerve damage is very complex and loss of sensation is most certainly a symptom. Get it checked professionally.

testosterone levels, weight, stress, lack of sensitivity due to working it too hard. All can be things too. Lots of times it’s a mental thing and once it’s happened you’re in your own head about it Everytime following up. See a dr as suggested.

What I’m hesitant to go to a doctor is the cost of diagnostics and any procedure it might have. But if it comes down to it.

*Tries very hard not to go on a rant about the abysmal US healthcare*

I looked a lot less into possible damage when it comes to male anatomy but the idea with nerve damage is technically possible. Rubber bands on for hours is a very bad idea. Also possible damage from areas not getting enough blood (although that is a lot harder to cause than nerve damage)
Like others said your only option is to go to a doctor and hope it is not permanent (there are also a lot other reasons that might be the cause but it would be a coincident that they fall at that exact time)

You will have to pay for a specialist or leave the US and go to a country with proper and free healthcare and let someone look at it ...
