What got most of you into domming and/or subbing?
I would give the sam advice i give new subs, take your time and go slow.
Being a good dominant takes even more time and learning than the submissive side, so even more important to give yourself a lot of time and ask a lot questions.
A mentor can for sure be a good option or instead or even better in addition talking with other doms and maybe some experienced subs in general.
To the question what brought me into it. I always had some interests in the area, even as kid, but to the more serious side was a submissive friend of my sister that was looking for someone going with her to a meeting in a local bdsm club were she did not want to go alone and asked me if i may escort her.
