For those not familiar with this particular device it is usually a wooden construction in an inverted V shape intended to apply intense pressure to a victims cunt using their own weight.

Another variation is to use a single board or even a pipe or rod suspended in some way.

This is an easy DIY version as it doesn't require any construction skills other than working out how to hold the board up. It can even be achieved simply by using something like an old cupboard door stood on the ground and straddling it. Ideally the victims feet should not touch the ground or they should be on tip toes which limits or removes their ability to adjust the pressure.
Finally if this appeals to you there is an even simpler method using a couple of chairs and broom stick or something similar.




So are there any Doms out there who have made something like this for their sub, or subs that have been on the wooden pony that could share their experiences?

for a maso who wants it extreme theres an alteration that one can do to the cross bar. thumbtacks to the bar facing upward makes for lots of crying. also if you want them standing over it best to make the height custom to the sub so that they can barely stand tip toes. then it becomes almost predicament bondage either stand and feet/toes hurt. or relax and cunt takes the brunt of the pain. i think from my exp the v shaped one is the best for acute intense pain. one can also use a metal pipe and either make it hot or freezing for an added sensory effect.

Yes I've seen a metal pipe with hot water pumped through used, also one with an electric shock device attached so any time the sub drops down to the pipe she gets a shock. Lots of lovely variations on this one!

I have always loved the idea of a wooden pony. In college I experimented with the the chair method using a shower curtain rod. It was a nice pressure pain.

But I would love to try the v type or a thin single board. I am a pain slut and I love to be tortured.

It is certainly a different scenario using the V type wooden pony as it forces your legs wide apart as opposed to the rod or board where you legs are together. I have seen various types over the years and made a few up myself of various designs but they are bulky things to store when not in use. If anyone is interested I do have the plans still for my most successful version, it only requires basic constructions skills just message me and I will dig them out for you.

I tried it, although I'm a dude. My balls wasn't tucked under me (I don't know if it's even possible), but it's already painful as hell even without pushing the balls. Your whole body weight is on your pelvic bone, witch starts to get painful quite fast. Your legs tire fast too by standing on tiptoe. Forget what you see in porn, I could only take 7-8 mins on this (and I'm not a heavy guy at all).
We also tried it with a 10 kgs heavy weight vest... I didn't last long lol. 3-4 minutes at best.
This stuff is much more painful than you think (if they are done the right way).

I've experimented with a "wooden pony" in the past. I use quotes because it was a makeshift version, but the principle was the same. I wanted to try out the pony, but I always lived with a family member so discretion was key. I couldn't have a big box laying around without raising suspicions, so I improvised. I read up on the different techniques and decided to try a variant of the single board/pipe method.

I purchased a thick wooden dowel and metal angle from my local hardware store, which were very inexpensive (images below).

To begin, i used two wooden stools as my ends, placing the wooden dowel so that the ends rested on each stool. I played around with the height, needing to prop the dowel up a bit on a stack of books to get the right height. I set the bar at about hip level so that I would be able to touch, but only by the balls of my foot. The feeling from this method was more of a crushing feeling; my clit felt it the most, and it felt like it was being squished/mashed. Overall not too bad, but didn't have that direct contact I was after.

That's why I tried the metal angle next. I replaced the wooden down with the metal angle in the same fashion. This produced the desired effect, a direct pain right on my clit, and it even put a decent force on my vaginal opening as well. I enjoyed this method more, and in the future I will likely use the wood down under the angle for stability and reinforcement (since it's just a thing piece of metal, it can feel like it might bend/warp under you depending how much force you are exerting).

My last attempt I tried placing a book on either side of the angle on the floor, a small distance from it. I did this so that my feet would rest on the book, forcing my legs apart but also making up for the height differential. It was significantly harder to alleviate the pressure as I was forced to put more weight down on my clit due to the angle. This method was more in line with what the pony's purpose is.

I'd still love to try a traditional pony at some point in the future, but that won't be for a while.

An excellent starting point for a DIY wooden pony is the saw horse. These can be purchased cheaply at hardware stores and fold up out of the way when not in use. They also have a legitimate purpose so if discretion is a thing it won't stand out.
Something like this one is ideal,


You can then attach various edges such as @sciencegal's suggestions of dowel rod or angle on the top. This is best done using a narrow plank which you can size to fit your crotch height. By attaching to the top beam of the saw horse it makes an ideal mount for different edge types, I have made a quick sketch using the example of the angle to illustrate what I mean.

The other advantage of this method is the top beam of the saw horse acts to spread the legs, this can be assisted by adding boards on each side of the horse legs. Of course that will add to the complication and make packing away more difficult.

So I hope this info helps any budding DIY'er wanting to get started on this.

My husband made one for some of our friends with ankle cuffs at the back so that Sam's husband can make her have to entirely rest her body weight between her legs, I got to try it when we visited them. The pony as we call it today comes with many names A wooden horse, Spanish donkey or cavaletto squarciapalle the original came in two designs both triangler in shape using the victim own weight and to keep the legs aprart to inflict the last recorded vaiation was called riding the rail and was used in the america civil war by union troop on confederate prisioners
If you look at the nicer saddle stand (wood type) the top piece can be easily changed for mulitple styles and can be hidden as a afgan stand for your vanilla friends
