To be completely honest, I think the dynamic you want is completely fair with someone you wanna marry. It's just a multidimensional dynamic instead of the 1D sexualized version of a relationship people fantasize about.
This is more grounded in reality and representative if someone willing to put in the effort for the person rather than the fantasy than most things I see here in my opinion.
